The Spirit Within Us: Understanding Our Gifts

The Spirit Within Us invites readers to explore their attributes and True Spirit through storytelling, poetry, beautiful illustrations, and personal artwork. The ultimate goal is to create and express your own story.

Part I is told through the eyes of Bicycle Betty, a fictional character who takes the reader with her on an adventure to the Universe of the Attri Beauties (Attributes), which contains fourteen different planets. At each planet, Betty learns about the different attributes and gifts she possesses but has lost sight of. Each planet’s message is narrated by unique and colorful characters through short stories and poetry. Through her newfound realization, Betty recognizes and acknowledges the True Spirit inside of her and makes transformational changes in her life.

Part II encourages the reader to creatively express their own story, their experiences, and the attributes they have or aspire to, through writing, drawing, and coloring the black and white illustrations for each place and planet.

The end result will be a reawakening to who you truly are, the gifts you possess, and how you can use them to better your life.
