This book is a result of the author’s life-long quest to determine the identity of a missing great-grandfather. Once this genealogical quest was completed, the author took a closer look at events which occurred subsequent to that person’s affair and resulting child. The author could never have imagined where this investigation would lead. The man in question was a millionaire mining magnate, mayor, Michigan Representative and Senator, and US Congressman. This book discusses more than a dozen fatal events which he attributes to the wife of this man, Mary. It also covers the woman’s only child, Ed Jr., with his ties to pro-German plots in WWI, and several attempts of the life his daughter’s husband.
