UP Notable Book Club:  Evelyn Gathu, Director of the Crystal Falls Community District Library has scheduled author events with these winners of the 1st UP Notable Book List.  The first event is with Karen Dionne featuring the international bestseller The Marsh King’s Daughter. You’ll be joined by readers from around the Upper Peninsula in a lively question and answer session with the author.

Karen Dionne is the USA Today and #1 international bestselling author of The Marsh King’s Daughter, a psychological suspense novel set in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula wilderness published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons in the U.S. and in 25 other languages and The Wicked Sister (August 2020), also from G.P. Putnam’s Sons.

The Marsh King’s Daughter was named a 2018 Michigan Notable Book, took home the Barry and the Crimson Scribe Awards for Best Novel, and was chosen as one of the best books of 2017 by many booksellers and reviewers.     karen this is cynthia meyer in star prairie wi i was married to a william dionne years ago hennephine county in minnesota called me last night to tell me that bill-william passed away on 11-21-2022 at the age of 59 but my question is are you related to him or do you know his relatives for he doesnt have anyone in minnesota it would be nice to have his family around him now so he dosent have to die alone if you could give me a cal at 1-715-248-3084 i would appreciate it and i could give you more info i do not use my email
