MARQUETTE — The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center is proud to announce the winners of the fifteenth annual Marquette County Arts Awards. Sponsored by the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Advisory Committee, the Art Awards recognize and thank arts supporters and community members that are especially involved in raising arts awareness or creating fine art. The event took place on May 18th at the Peter White Public Library.
Outstanding Writers: Lon and Lynn Emerick – given to working community writers who has consistently made an impact in their discipline.
