Since 1871, Roman Catholics of Lake Linden, Hubbell, Tamarack, and the surrounding rural areas have worshiped at St. Joseph Church. While the founding group of families were mostly French-Canadian, the parish became very diversified as the years passed. Through two different buildings, numerous repairs, maintenance and restoration, the church building has retained its original look and feel as one of the most beautiful churches in the Copper Country. Some six to seven generations of parishioners have made it their worship home and faith family, people who have persevered through good and tough times and look to the future with hope. This volume is the story of those people and the building.

Deborah K. Frontiera wrote this as a true volunteer. ALL proceeds will go to the church building fund for many expensive repairs and updates coming up.
