SUMMARY:[The Soo] Writing In-Person Sprint
DESCRIPTION:if you’re near the Sault\, some writing friends and I are hosting in-person writing sessions at the Bayliss where the focus will be to get words on a page and get to know other writers in the area. First Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Starts September 3.\n\nDetails: A one-hour-long drop-in writing session once a month at the Bayliss. \n\nWe envision the sessions being broken into three 20-minute sections:\nFirst section: 20-minutes for greetings\, news\, connection\, etc.\nSecond section: 20-minute writing sprint\nThird section: 20-minute writer’s choice (writing or revising sprint)\n\n During the sprints\, the host will set a timer for 20 minutes\, and\, during that time\, everyone quietly writes or revises.\n \nNote – The sessions will not include workshop\, critique\, feedback\, craft talks\, or lessons. The goal is simply to meet other writers and get words on pages.
